On the 29th of October 2023, Asim Jamil tragically passed away in Talamba, Punjab. His father confirmed this heartbreaking news on X. According to security camera footage, Asim Jamil took his own life while in the midst of a workout by obtaining a pistol from his security guard and subsequently shooting himself in the chest. RPO Sohail disclosed that Asim Jamil had been grappling with mental health issues and was under medication for this condition. After the self-inflicted gunshot, he was swiftly taken to the Talamba Rural Health Centre, where he was pronounced deceased. The process of transporting Asim’s body to the family residence is currently underway.
